About MeWell I'm the real Bryan Williams, not that fake on NBC who spells his name wrong. It's not easy being me and I really mean that. I live the life of a problem solver. I have a real vivid imagination which instead of letting it lead me into problems I use it to see things outside the box to solve them. One way I do that is I apply what I call 3 dimensional thinking. I also like to reach Zen moments in my life through music. Sometimes its the sounds of harp strings with violins, other times its thrash metal with violent lyrics. I really don't think I have barriers in music, I just know I don't like everything in every genre. While I make a living at being the IT geeky guy, I like to think I am more to that. In the life I have lived I have been. I know what its like to survive, I left home at 17 between my Jr and Sr year in High School. I still managed to graduate and making it to OU. I've been faced with life changing decisions so many times I feel like I'm not living right when I haven't had to deal with one in a long time. On each major one I feel I could write a book on it and make a best seller, because the outcome was correct. I have lived many lives, a Drill Sgt, a Skip Tracer, IT Guy. I have had my moments of fame and infamy. During my Senior year in High School, when I couldn't get a ride to school I'd have to walk it. I called those my walks with God. Because it was long walk out in the country several miles long, and I would be there alone with my thoughts. Recently I've come to the realization those walks in so many ways help me through out my life. I really didn't talk about those walks that much because one of the thoughts I had is that I lived the age of computers, yet I am going to have a walking to school on dirt road story like my grandparents. I have been lucky enough to have a wonderful wife who was strong enough to deal with me. I was blessed with a daughter who in her very nature is destined for greatness and her presence made me be the best that I could be. My philosophy in life is live it. Don't spend more time thinking about it than doing it. I think there are very few truly good people in the world, and the same for truly evil people in the world. The rest all fall somewhere in between, and which side we fall in sometimes depends on what is happening on that exact moment. I like my entertainers to entertain, but have no desire to run up to one and ask for an autograph. I hate it when I have to do my job after my shift is over. On of the things I truly love are watching good things happening for good people. Like surprise reunions, Ellen Swaggin Wagon, and Extreme home make over. If I was a billionaire I would probably go out and look for those hardworking people who would never ask for help, and give them something to make their lives better. A car, some bills paid, things like that. bmw@bryanwilliams.org |
